1: A good mattress

We know that people can become quite attached to their beds, but if your mattress is more than 7 years old, it may be time to get a new one!
2: Lumbar support cushions
If you haven’t got a lumbar support cushion, get one. ASAP! These pads can significantly help to reduce pressure on your spine which can help to reduce back pain. Choose a support that fits in the small of your back, with the widest part between your lowest rib and your waist.
3: Sensible shoes
Your spine likes skyscraper heels about as much as you like back pain! Wearing uncomfortable shoes can change the way you walk, leading to the muscles and ligaments in your back stretching past their normal range. Ideally, you should stick to wearing flat shoes, but if you must wear heels, keep them under an inch high.
