National Gardening Week runs between the 30th April and 6th May. This year the aim of the week is to encourage gardeners to share their love of gardening. Gardening is a great activity for all, from the very young to the more mature. It not only keeps us active, it also gets us outdoors. Gardening is great for our overall health and well-being and our chiropractors at City Chiropractic Clinic in Stoke highly recommend it.
However, we do want you to stay safe as gardening is not without its risks. Back pain, muscle strains and joint pain are all too frequent injuries that can occur when gardening.
The British Chiropractic Association have produced a 3 minute video full of great advice and demonstrations of ways for you to protect your back, muscles and joints whilst gardening.
Our chiropractors highly recommend you take 3 minutes to watch the video and take on board the advice before heading out to the garden. After all it could be the difference between staying safe and ending up in pain.
If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in pain then our chiropractors are here to help you. Call is on 01782 848 184 to book an appintment with one of our team.
