Our Stoke Chiropractic Clinic

City Chiropractic Clinic is a chiropractic clinic based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. We specialise in the treatment of conditions that affect joints, muscles, nerves, and ligaments using non-invasive methods. As well as using the more conventional chiropractic techniques, our chiropractors use other gentler approaches suitable for the treatment of the older or more nervous patient. We also work with amateur and professional sports clubs to aid with injury prevention and to help improve recovery times.

Our chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council and are members of the British Chiropractic Association.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral from my GP to see a chiropractor?

No, you don’t need a referral to book an appointment with us. You can come to see us directly, and if we feel your symptoms would be better looked at by your GP or another healthcare professional, we’ll always let you know and point you in the right direction.

How do I know if chiropractic care is right for me?

Many patients come to us with back pain, neck pain, joint stiffness or general aches that affect their day to day life. Chiropractic care may help with a range of musculoskeletal issues, but the best way to find out if it’s right for you is to book an assessment so we can look at your individual situation and talk through your options together.

You can book online whenever suits you.

Do you see patients from outside Stoke on Trent, like Biddulph or Leek?

Yes, we welcome patients from right across the area, including Biddulph, Leek, Kidsgrove, Congleton and the surrounding villages, as well as from the six towns themselves. Many patients travel a short distance to see us because they’ve been recommended by a friend or family member, so you’re very welcome whether you’re local to the clinic or coming in from a bit further afield.

Is chiropractic care safe for older adults or people with health conditions?

Chiropractic care is generally well tolerated, and treatment plans are always adapted to suit the individual. If you have an existing health condition, are recovering from surgery, or are a bit older and worried about your bones or joints, it’s important to mention this when you book so we can take it into account. We’ll always ask about your medical history before starting any treatment, and if chiropractic care isn’t suitable for you, we’ll say so honestly.

I work in Hanley or Stoke town centre, is it easy to fit an appointment around my working day?

We know many of our patients work in and around Hanley, Stoke town centre and the wider Potteries area, so we try to keep appointments straightforward to fit around a working day. If you let us know your usual working pattern when you book, we’ll do our best to find a time that works for you.

What conditions can chiropractic care help with?

Chiropractic care mainly focuses on musculoskeletal problems, things like back pain, neck pain, headaches linked to tension in the neck and shoulders, sciatica-type symptoms, and general joint or muscle stiffness. Many patients find it helpful alongside their day to day life, whether that’s manual work, sitting at a desk, or staying active with sport or exercise.

Chiropractic care isn’t suitable for every condition, so if you’re unsure whether it could help with what you’re experiencing, it’s best to book an assessment and talk it through with us directly.
