Digital Posture Analysis At City Chiropractic Stoke

“Posture affects and moderates every physiologic function from breathing to hormonal production. Spinal pain, headache, mood, blood pressure, pulse and lung capacity are among the functions most easily influenced by posture.” AJPM 1994

Regain A Great Posture

Your posture is vital to how your body looks and feels. Dr. Mohamad has spent over 5 years helping people just like you regain a great posture.

At City Chiropractic, in addition to neurological and orthopaedic examinations, we use the latest digital technology to accurately assess your posture. To have Dr Mohamad perform this powerful test, we simply take 2 photos of you, one from the front and one from the side. These photos are then fed into the computer and just a few moments later, the computer uses some sophisticated maths to accurately evaluate your posture and calculates if any extra pressure is being placed on your spine due to your posture.

Frequently Asked Questions: Digital Posture Analysis

What is Digital Posture Analysis and how does it work?

Digital Posture Analysis is a quick, non-invasive assessment that measures how your posture may be placing extra strain on your spine. Our Stoke-on-Trent chiropractor takes two photographs, one from the front and one from the side, which are then analysed using specialist computer software. Within a few moments, this gives an accurate picture of any postural imbalances that could be contributing to your pain or stiffness.

Is Digital Posture Analysis safe? Does it involve X-rays?

Yes, it is completely safe. Digital Posture Analysis uses simple photographs rather than X-rays, so there is no radiation involved. It is a comfortable, non-invasive assessment suitable for adults and children, and forms part of a wider examination alongside the neurological and orthopaedic tests carried out by our Stoke-on-Trent chiropractors.

Who benefits most from a Digital Posture Analysis?

Digital Posture Analysis is particularly useful for office workers and desk based staff, drivers, tradespeople, students and anyone who spends long periods looking at a phone or screen. These habits can gradually pull the spine out of its ideal alignment, and a posture analysis helps identify exactly where the strain is building up before it develops into ongoing pain.

How long does a Digital Posture Analysis take, and is it included in my first visit?

A Digital Posture Analysis only takes a few minutes and is typically carried out as part of your first appointment at our Stoke-on-Trent clinic, alongside your case history and physical examination. Your chiropractor will then go through the results with you and explain how they relate to your symptoms and treatment plan.

Can I have a Digital Posture Analysis if I live in Hanley, Fenton, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Trentham, Meir or Blurton?

Yes. Digital Posture Analysis is available to all patients at our clinic on Epworth Street, and we regularly welcome patients from right across Stoke-on-Trent, including Hanley, Fenton, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Trentham, Meir and Blurton. Wherever you are in the Potteries, our central location makes it easy to book in for an assessment.
