Encouragingly, the report findings highlight a surge in efforts towards preventative care, with 60% of respondents turning to exercise to manage their back and joint pain. However, the report also exposes concerning statistics:
- 22% have taken up to 5 months off work due to bone and joint pain.
- Over half (52%) of the population has endured bone and joint pain for over a year.
- Shockingly, a third of Britons (33%) have refrained from seeking GP consultation for their bone and joint pain due to appointment unavailability.
