Sleep Easy: How To Reduce Back Pain at Bedtime

Back pain can make it seem impossible to get a good night’s sleep. But at the same time, not getting your nightly forty winks can put extra strain on an already aching spine.

So what can you do?

Sleeping in certain positions can also help to alleviate back pain at bed time.  If you sleep on your back, putting a pillow under your knees will help your spine to maintain its natural curve. If you prefer to sleep on your stomach, placing a pillow beneath your lower abdomen will help to ease your pain. And if you sleep on your side, you can get relief by drawing your legs up towards your chest and sleeping with a pillow between your knees.
