Sitting for prolonged periods can trigger back pain which is the last thing we want for you. Here are our chiropractor’s tips to help you keep your back safe watching TV this summer.
Don’t slouch or slump. Check your posture regularly to ensure you are sitting upright. Your back should be firmly pressed into the back of the chair or sofa that you are sitting on.
Adjust your position regularly, stand up and move around at least every 20 minutes. During a break in play do some simple stretches.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water – sorry alcohol does not help!
